Tūristu vilcieniņi ir populāri visā pasaulē un kopš 2018.gada vilcieniņš viesus vizina arī pa Ventspils skaistākajām vietām! Brauciena laikā jūs apskatīsiet pilsētas ievērojamākos objektus, vēsturiskas ēkas, krāšņus parkus un laukumus.
Tūristu vilcieniņš ir uzbūvēts pašu rokām šeit pat Ventspilī. Projekta īstenotājs uzņēmējs Ģirts Purviņš atklāj, ka būvniecības process ilga vairāk nekā četrus mēnešus un tajā ieguldīts daudz darba un mīlestības.
Vilcieniņu radījusi lieliska komanda. Dizainu veidojis arhitekts Alvis Didrihsons, bet lokomotīves un vagoniņu izbūves procesā inženiera Jāņa Avotiņa vadībā piedalījās Ansis Sēlis-Sviriņš, Krists Ērkšķis, Grigorijs Grundštoks, Guntis Burnevics, Armīns Brālītis un Ēriks Belte. Projekta gaitu uzraudzīja Latvijas Neatkarīgo ekspertu asociācijas eksperts Eduards Tenis, kurš atzinīgi novērtēja ventspilnieku pielietotos tehniskos risinājumus un izsniedza sertifikātu, ka ventspilnieku roku darbs var doties ielās.
Projekta īstenošana bija iespējama pateicoties Ventspils pilsētas domes izsludinātajam konkursam, kas paredzēja pašvaldības līdzfinansējumu tūristu vilcieniņa pakalpojuma izveidei pilsētā.

Our story
Tourist trains are popular all over the world, and since 2018 such a tourist train has been showing the most beautiful places in Ventspils as well! During the trip you will look at the town’s most remarkable objects, historic buildings, beautiful parks and other exciting places. The sightseeings will be accompanied by an interesting audiogide narrative about the town’s present and history.
The tourist train has been built by own hands here in Ventspils. Project developer businessman Girts Purvins reveals that the tourist train construction process lasted more than four months and there were invested a lot of work and love. The train was created by an excellent team. This train was designed by architect Alvis Didrihsons, while in the construction process of locomotive engine and train carriages under the direction of engineer Janis Avotins were taking part Ansis Selis-Svirins, Krists Erkskis, Grigorijs Grundstoks, Guntis Burnevics, Armins Bralitis and Eriks Belte. The project work was supervised by the expert of the Latvian Association of Independent Experts Eduards Tenis, who welcomed the technical solutions used by the residents of Ventspils and issued a certificate approving that the train can carry tourists on the streets of Ventspils.
Implementation of the project was possible thanks to the competition launched by the Ventspils City Council, which provided municipality’s co-financing for the creation of the tourist train in the town. Our team is pleased to have a train ride that brings positive feelings to our city residents as well as to the guests.
